The Guardian stars Kevin Costner as Ben Randall and Ashton Kutcher as Jake Fischer in the world of Coast Guard Rescue Swimming. After losing his crew in a fatal crash, Ben is sent to teach at “A” School for Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers. Ben immerses himself in teaching, transforming the program with his out of the box training style. Ben takes Jake under his wing and trains him to be the best. After graduation, Jake follows Randall to Alaska, where they face the mortal dangers of the Bering Sea. In his initial solo rescue, Jake learns the true meaning of the Coast Guard motto; ”So Others May Live” |
